Melbourne NBA:Tigers hold on for six-point win over Cairns Taipans
Hi guys.Happy to meet you with an interesting article.Hope you like it.Tigers made up to the third spot of NBA after a hard fight against Taipans to take a six point win .Tigers had a comeback after it csevere 19 point loss against south Dragons last week.The host team Taipan had a tough week with the salaries of the players being cut and the coach of the team being sacked.Initially Tigers were 9 point lead at the end of the first quarter ,which is reduced to 4 points in the second quarter.Finally it was Tigers who had a 6 point lead scoring 59-53 in the final Quarter.

India gets on to a massive victory
Hi guys.Happy to meet you with an interesting article.Most of us are aware of the ongoing test match between India and England.After a worst defeat in the ODI tournament,England returned back to India to play a 2 match test series against India.Under tight security the first match took place at the Chepauk stadium at Chennai.Winning the toss,England chose to bat and managed to reach 316 runs with Strauss leading from the front with 122 runs.India started it s first innings with the hope to get the lead.But all that happened went to the English side who supressed indian batsmen to 241 runs.England opened their second innings with a lead of 75 runs.With an excellent centuries by Collingwood and Strauss the team declared at 311/9.With 387 as taregt Indian opener sehwag made a blasting 83 of 68 balls which laid the good foundation for indian batting order.It was the Sachin's day who scalped the victory from England by reaching his 45th ton.Well Done sachin.India marked a historic win after some 30 years.

World No.2 Roger Federer to cut back on clay tournaments in 2009

World no 2 tennis legend Roger federer has decided to not to play in any of the clay tournaments in the year 2009.If so is the case he might miss out the major clay tournament the French Open, played on clay at Roland Garros.I have to make you remember that Federer has lost three clay tournamenst to the present world No 1 Nadal.
Federer will skip Monte Carlo event and intends to play just the claycourt warm-ups in Rome and Madrid.His prime objective is to cling back the Wimbledon title which he lost it to Nadal in the year 2008.He also lost Davis cup To Djokovic.
Hope this year might be the best for his career.Federer ,We want your game back.

The top seeded tennis players have been booked to play in the tournament.Six out of the top ten seeded women tennis stars have agreed to take part in the tournament.Nine-time grand slam winner Williams and world No.6 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will be the top seeds of the tournament.Other players in the tournament are Dinara Safina (world No.3), Elena Dementieva (No.4), Vera Zvonareva (No.7), Svetlana Kuznetsova (No.8) and Agnieszka Radwanska (No.10).
